Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks an experienced OT systems specialist focusing on AVEVA PI System for data integration and system reliability. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs, and maintain PI components including AF, interfaces, and Vision.

You will design scalable workarounds, develop automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with IT for upgrades and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments (Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems with a focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead improvements to PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades.
