Job summary

Invenergy LLC, a leading North American energy developer and operator, seeks an experienced OT systems specialist to advance the AVEVA PI System across multiple data sources. You will configure, maintain, and optimize PI components, build automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET, and collaborate with IT for upgrades.

The role requires 5+ years of AVEVA PI administration, strong TCP/IP networking knowledge, and hands-on scripting.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge; ability to troubleshoot comms issues.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting: .NET, PowerShell, Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT sources (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Lead improvements to PI System architecture, data integrations, and reliability.
• Develop automation and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain technical docs.
