Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT systems expert to administer and optimize AVEVA PI System environments, data integrations, and automation. You will coordinate with IT and operations to support large-scale energy infrastructure projects and ensure data reliability for control centers.

The role requires 5+ years of PI experience, strong scripting skills in Python/PowerShell/.NET, and deep knowledge of networking and industrial protocols.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs, and other data sources.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds to third parties using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
