Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an experienced OT/PI Systems Engineer to act as the subject matter expert for the AVEVA PI System and drive data integrations across SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs. You will configure, maintain, and optimize PI System components, while collaborating with IT and operations for infrastructure upgrades and reliability.

Responsibilities include developing automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET, maintaining real-time data pipelines, and mentoring junior staff in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, AF, Collectives).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in .NET, PowerShell and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on the AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Administer and support AVEVA PI System components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
