Job summary

DBI STaffing seeks an Audio Visual Specialist to configure, operate, and maintain conference room and event tech for meetings, training, and videoconferences in our New York area offices. You will provide in-room and remote support, manage content sharing, and rapidly resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality.

You’ll work with enterprise platforms (Teams/Zoom), install and test equipment, and assist with roadmaps, budgeting, and procurement as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; relevant training may substitute.
• At least five years supporting audiovisual tech in meetings/events.
• Industry certifications preferred (CTS, Teams Admin).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, operate, and support AV/meeting tech for events.
• Provide in-room and remote meeting support and rapid issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and room-control systems.
• Coordinate room readiness with stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and end-user training materials.
• Record or stream meetings when authorized and secure data handling.
