Job summary

Security 101 is seeking a Senior AV Solutions Consultant in Richmond to drive new business and expand relationships with enterprise AV technologies. You will work with account executives, branch leadership, engineering, and operations to design solutions that improve collaboration and operations.

Five+ years in commercial AV sales, strong consultative and negotiation skills, and knowledge of construction and bid processes are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of commercial AV sales experience.
• Strong consultative sales, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of commercial construction, specifications, and bid processes.
• CTS certification preferred.
• Proficiency using CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial AV business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct customer discovery meetings, site surveys, and needs assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop complete system designs and proposals.
• Present, negotiate, and close proposals while maintaining profitability objectives.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, manufacturer representatives, and end users.
• Develop AV solutions across control rooms, security operations centers, emergency operations centers, real-time crime centers, boardrooms, conference rooms, training facilities, auditoriums, direct-view LED, video walls, AV over IP, unified communications, digital signage, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
