Job summary

Security 101 seeks a Senior AV Solutions Consultant in New Jersey to drive new business and expand relationships. You will collaborate with account executives, engineers, and operations to design AV solutions that enhance collaboration, situational awareness, and operations.

The role offers competitive compensation with uncapped commissions, plus a monthly car stipend, laptop, cell phone, and industry-leading CRM and BD tools. CTS certification is preferred and a Bachelor’s degree is favored.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of commercial AV sales experience.
• CTS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial construction, specifications, and bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial AV business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct customer discovery meetings, site surveys, and needs assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop complete system designs and proposals.
• Present, negotiate, and close proposals while maintaining profitability objectives.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, manufacturer representatives, and end users.
• Develop AV solutions across control rooms, security operations centers, emergency operations centers, real-time crime centers, boardrooms, conference rooms, training facilities, auditoriums, direct-view LED, video walls, AV over IP, unified communications, digital signage, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
