Job summary

The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Media Technology Specialist IV to manage AV equipment and provide event technology support across student-focused departments. The role also supervises a small team of student employees assisting AV operations.

As an AV/IT hybrid, the role may assist with software/hardware needs, imaging systems, deploying software, and producing documentation for IT initiatives. Experience in an education setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 3 years experience in media technology service, preferably in education.
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment and ability to train others on usage.
• Proficient in basic office software, data entry, and documenting processes.

Responsibilities

• Procure, manage, and maintain Division of Student Affairs AV equipment and programs.
• Provide event technology support for large campus events.
• Lead a small team of student employees focused on AV operations.
• Imaging systems, deploying software, and creating documentation.
• Support Gaming & Esports Center and Student Media Center technology initiatives.
