Job summary

Diversified in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Lead ESS Installation Technician to oversee installation teams on technology projects. You will interpret drawings, manage BOMs, coordinate with project management, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of access control and video surveillance systems at client sites.

Requirements include 3+ years of hands-on installation experience in commercial environments, Lenel certification preferred, and proficiency with Teams/Outlook/OneNote/BlueBeam/Adobe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance.
• Experience supervising others on site.
• Lenel certification preferred.
• Ability to read matrices, BOMs, SRDs, RFIs, and redlines.
• Proficiency with Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam, Adobe Reader.
• Understand ACS/CCTV systems and network concepts.
• Willingness to travel and maintain vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians on project sites.
• Interpret BOMs and manage material requirements.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with PMs and site supervisors.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot access control and CCTV equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subs; ensure quality and safety.
