Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Lead AV Installation Technician to oversee hands-on installation of commercial AV systems across client projects. You will coordinate with PMs, field superintendents, and crews to ensure accurate execution aligned with design drawings.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to QC standards. Occasional overtime and travel to job sites are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Certificate required.
• Associates/Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• AVIXA CTS Certification is highly desired.
• AVIXA CTS-I Certification is highly desired.
• Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee installation technicians while performing hands-on installation of commercial AV systems.
• Manage daily workload, priorities, and schedules, maintaining progress and escalating risks as needed.
• Identify and elevate design, drawing, or material issues, including missing or defective equipment.
• Leads and delegates tasks to install crews, subcontractors, and union trades.
• May be required to regularly lead a team on large projects.
• Verifies that all work complies with Diversified's and clients QC standards.
• Oversee field operations in situations without a dedicated on-site superintendent.
