Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Lead ESS Installation Technician to perform a wide range of installation duties on technology projects. You will lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians, coordinate with project management, and interpret drawings and BOMs to deliver equipment racks, IP networks, and device installations.

This senior field role requires strong technical and people skills, the ability to work with clients and subcontractors, and the readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years installing access control and CCTV in large commercial environments.
• Experience supervising others and giving feedback.
• Ability to train and coach to Diversified standards.
• Lenel experience or certification preferred.
• Understand/install access control/CCTV systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Proficient with Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam, and Adobe Reader.
• Knowledge of project drawings, matrices, RFIs, redlines; follow DIV28 QC specs.
• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, DMP.
• Knowledge of mechanical retrofitting of door frames/gates; network interfaces for devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians on a project site while performing as an Installation Technician.
• Understand BOM and material requirements for each job.
• Maintain project schedule timelines for device installation and termination.
• Notify Site Supervisor promptly about timeline issues.
• Own workload and manage multiple tasks on site.
• Maintain daily communication with the Site Supervisor.
• Identify and report issues in drawings or matrices to the Site Supervisor.
• Request replacements for missing or defective equipment.
• Assist with inventory and keep OneNote records up to date.
• Help installation technicians with questions about device/head-end work.
