Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Forensics Engineer to lead investigations across our growing autonomous vehicle fleet. You will reproduce issues from data, logs, and simulations, identify root causes, and drive fixes with cross‑functional teams.

You’ll build dashboards and automated workflows to monitor issues, communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, and support release testing for new vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or similar engineering environments.
• Hands-on with ambiguous technical problems and root-cause investigations.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations from triage to root cause resolution in AV systems.
• Analyse on‑road data, logs, and simulations to reproduce issues and identify patterns.
• Build queries, plots, dashboards, and automated workflows to accelerate investigations.
