Wayve, based in Sunnyvale, is hiring for a Triage & Detective Automation Engineer to scale automation of triage workflows for autonomous-vehicle fleets. You will build pipelines and tooling using Python, SQL, Bash, and cloud-triggered automation, partnering with engineers to create robust, reusable solutions.

You will evaluate impact, document outputs, and help drive the roadmap while working in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration in Sunnyvale and occasional travel.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years working with complex technical systems, ideally in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• Strong in Python, SQL, and Bash or shell scripting; comfortable in remote Linux environments.
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines, notebooks, or cloud-triggered automation.

Aufgaben

• Observe, document, and measure current Triage and Detective workflows to identify automation opportunities.
• Build automation pipelines, triage bots, classifiers, and workflow tooling.
• Partner with Detective Engineers to turn scripts into reusable tools.
• Validate automation accuracy, reliability, and outputs; document purpose and limitations.
• Track triage quality and throughput to demonstrate impact and guide the roadmap.
