Job summary

Gusto is seeking an AV Engineer to be the design authority for audiovisual technology across its offices. This senior IC will own the AV standard, multi-site capital roadmap, and productions for executives and customers. You’ll drive the company-wide migration from Zoom to Google Meet, restructuring 200+ conference rooms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of AV engineering experience, multi-site leadership.
• Experience designing room tiers, signal flow, and control narratives.
• Proven ability to lead high-stakes live events end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own AV design and programming for Gusto sites (SF, Denver, NY, Burlingame, Scottsdale).
• Develop and maintain the Gusto AV standard for rooms and events.
• Lead production design for executive meetings, fireside chats, and large events.
• Manage Zoom to Google Meet migration and room interoperability.
• Oversee multi-site AV capital roadmap and vendor relationships.
• Administer AV SaaS offerings (Google Meet, Zoom, endpoints).
• Provide escalation support to IT Geeks for meeting-space tech.
• Build tooling and AI-driven runbooks to automate routine tasks.
• Mentor IT Geeks and event technicians to own AV tiers.
