Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an AV Engineer in our San Francisco or NYC office to design and implement systems that enable world-class collaboration across offices. You will architect AV solutions from concept through commissioning for conference rooms, event spaces, and collaboration areas to support AI safety research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years designing and implementing AV systems in enterprise environments.
• Proficient in control system programming (Q-Sys) and video conferencing platforms.
• Ability to read and create AV drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds and expansions.
• Create and maintain AV system designs including schematics and elevations.
• Program and commission AV systems to meet user requirements.
• Execute first-day deployments ensuring systems work on day one.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and workplace teams on AV requirements.
• Develop automated solutions to improve reliability and reduce overhead.
