Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Sr. AV Conference and Events Technologies Platforms Administrator to lead enterprise collaboration, conferencing, and event tech globally.

You will manage room systems, scheduling displays, and AV hardware while ensuring security, governance, and high availability across hybrid and in-office environments. You’ll support executive meetings, webcasts, and high-visibility events, optimizing AI-enabled features, meeting summaries, and transcription.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise AV, videoconferencing, UC, webcast, or related IT environments.
• Experience administering enterprise collaboration platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex) including user access, licensing, security, and feature management.
• Experience supporting conference room systems, integrated AV tech, display scheduling, and related hardware.
• Experience providing technical support for live, hybrid, and virtual events.
• Strong troubleshooting across audio, video, conferencing, streaming, and network performance.
• Knowledge of UC concepts, including UCaaS, VoIP, SIP/H.323, QoS, firewalls, bandwidth management.
• Experience with identity management (SSO, SAML, Azure AD, Okta).
• Strong communication skills and ability to train end users.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Vertex’s enterprise collaboration, videoconferencing, UC, webcast, and event tech platforms.
• Own the lifecycle and health of conference room and event technology ecosystem, including hardware and room controllers.
• Provide high-touch technical leadership for executive meetings, town halls, webcasts, and live events.
• Manage meeting content capabilities: recording, transcription, captioning, translation, AI-generated summaries, and item extraction.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex collaboration incidents; monitor health, call quality, and network performance.
• Manage integrations across platforms including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Evaluate and govern AI-enabled collaboration features with security, privacy, and governance in mind.
• Develop runbooks, training materials, and analytics to improve adoption and support.
