Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a competitive pay range and ongoing professional development.

This position emphasizes hands-on repair across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension and A/C systems, with opportunities to advance ASE certifications and a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering or suspension, and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 3 years automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
