Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward better customer care and efficiency.

You will perform brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and computer system repairs, explaining your findings clearly to customers and teammates. On-the-job training and ASE certifications are funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
