Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an experienced Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a performance-based, flat-rate pay model with regional variation.

The position involves mentoring technicians, ongoing training, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications; a valid driver's license and strong repair skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Strong brakes/hydraulics and steering/suspension skills.
• Able to explain complex diagnoses to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1-A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
