Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to deliver quality service. The role offers a performance-based, flat-rate pay structure and focuses on customer care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension and electrical issues, explaining findings to customers, and pursuing ASE certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments is preferred.
• Strong general automotive maintenance and tire repair skills required.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Good reading, writing and math skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years; test fees covered by the company; bonuses for tests passed.
