Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician in Salisbury, MD to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to deliver excellent customer care. The role includes training and staying current with evolving automotive tech, with a performance-based flat-rate pay model.

The position requires ASE-related certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong skills in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and tire repair.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians.
• Pursue ASE certifications and maintain credentials.
