Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a small team, and deliver exceptional customer care. You will diagnose, repair, and explain needed work, staying current with automotive technology through paid training.

You should have hands-on experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and electrical systems; ASE certifications (or pursuing) are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Adequately explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment; tests and fees paid by the company.
