Job summary

The Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) Senior Technician role requires diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, while providing leadership and mentoring to a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires; pay range listed as $19.57 - $33.47 per hour. Flat-rate pay rewards skilled professionals for quality work and efficient task completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brake, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Federal, state and local certifications where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
