Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer satisfaction. Pay range reflects flat-rate productivity and is regionally adjusted. The company emphasizes training, fair wages, and employee support.

The role requires ASE certifications within two years and ongoing development, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for first-time hires. Excellent communication with customers and teammates is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
