Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to help lead a team focused on customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay structure reflecting region-specific earnings potential.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing components, mentoring technicians, and pursuing ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver's license at all times and able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• 3 years automotive repair experience or completion of Vocational-Technical School Program.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
