Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Reconditioning Special Operations at Inspection Centers, supporting ADESA Megasite Integrations. You will train departments, ensure tools and processes are in place, and manage on-site RSO initiatives across multiple lines.

The role requires 8+ years of automotive or lean manufacturing leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 80% with regional relocation as needed. English fluency and a valid license are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing environments.
• Ability to travel 80% of the time.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead large teams (50+ associates).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead site integration strategy and manage RSO Teams and Carvana/Adesa associates through setup, training, equipment, and resources.
• Ensure tools and training available for new production launches at IC facilities.
• Project manage key RSO initiatives on site.
• Serve as main point-of-contact for RSO team members on assignment.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects as needed.
• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines, identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and drive site performance reviews.
