Magna Exteriors is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing processes. You will program PLCs and robotics, ensure safety, troubleshoot issues, and optimize production.

You will lead projects, coordinate with global teams, and drive the adoption of Industry 4.0, IoT, MES, and data analytics across Exteriors manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Manufacturing or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years in assembly equipment, secondary equipment controls, and automation.
• Proficient in PLC and robotics programming; hardware knowledge.
• Experience with Python, Java, SCL, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of AI vision inspection, AGV/AMRs, Poka Yoke, welding, milling, bonding, punching, etc.
