Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Senior Automation Product Specialist to join the Mayer Team in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on driving sales of automation products, providing product knowledge, and building strong customer relationships to meet their needs with the right solutions.

You will support external and internal customers, develop training for teams, and collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to optimize inventory and bids. A strong technical background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical distribution or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer and drive sales with key targets and opportunities.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers via on-site, phone, and email.
• Establish relationships with sales and customers to understand sales potential and inform joint strategies.
• Provide expert knowledge to facilitate quoting, order entry, and expediting; present technical and commercial training.
