Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Senior Automation Product Specialist to join the Platt team in the Washington region. You will assist Outside sales to drive sales of automation products and solutions to customers and provide product knowledge to address inquiries.

The role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying needs, and recommending the best products and solutions, with responsibilities spanning technical support, training, and quotes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical distribution or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred (4-year).
• Strong computer skills: Excel/Outlook/Word.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer.
• Lead and support sales efforts with key targets, customers, and opportunities in the region.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visits, phone, and email.
• Build relationships with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals or estimates of prices, terms, and delivery; assist with orders and expediting.
