Job summary

Rexel USA seeks an Automation Product Specialist to join our team in the Western North Carolina area. The role focuses on supporting outside sales to drive automation product sales, delivering product knowledge, and addressing customer inquiries to build strong customer relationships.

You will identify customer needs, recommend suitable products and solutions, and develop technical/commercial training for internal and external customers while collaborating with sales and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical distribution or related industry.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offerings.
• Lead and support sales efforts with key targets and opportunities.
• Provide technical support via on-site visits, phone, and email.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Develop and present technical and commercial training for customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and delivery terms.
• Collaborate with purchasing on inventory and obsolescence risks.
• Assist in creating strategies with the sales team.
