Job summary

CRB is seeking an Automation Engineer V – Senior Lead to oversee the discipline on large, complex projects. You will manage budgets, direct multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality design delivery through all phases.

The role requires extensive experience, strong leadership, and expertise in control system design and P&IDs. You will coordinate with engineers, designers, and construction partners across multiple locations, mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to cgMPs and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline-specific field (ChemE, ME or EE) from an ABET-accredited program.
• 15+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the discipline at project level and manage the discipline budget on projects of varying size.
• Lead and mentor discipline staff from entry to senior levels.
• Develop and review design documents, calculations, and P&IDs with attention to quality.
• Coordinate with construction teams, suppliers and project partners.
• Ensure compliance with codes and industry standards across designs.
• Lead advanced project system design programming and master planning with support from Senior Engineer.
• Provide advanced team leadership for the execution of complex discipline design and engineering.
