Job summary

CRB is seeking an Automation Engineer V – Senior Lead to oversee the Automation, Instrumentation and Controls discipline on projects, guiding design through all phases and managing the discipline budget. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction on complex programs across the country.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in ChemE/ME/EE.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Professional Engineer registration (preferred).
• ISA Certified Automation Professional (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software.
• Advanced knowledge of cGMPs and related complex projects.
• Experience with P&IDs, control systems, and electrical/code standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee discipline at project level and manage budget on complex projects.
• Direct workflows and mentor staff from Entry to Senior levels.
• Lead design documentation through all project phases with quality checks.
• Coordinate RFI responses, submittals, punch lists and progress reports.
• Conduct technical interviews and ensure project goals are met.
