Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in our fulfillment centers. You will provide proactive controls automation, mentor teammates, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems and improve site throughput.

You will work with PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and SCADA devices, driving continuous improvement and ensuring safety and efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/automation or 4+ years of PLC automation experience.
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• 4+ years of Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys ladder logic programming.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex control systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Optimize MHE systems and project implementations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
• Provide on-call escalation support during and after hours.
