Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and throughput in our fulfillment centers. You will lead cross-functional teams, troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, and mentor junior engineers to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, automation, or equivalent, or 4+ years PLC/automation experience.
• 4+ years in PLC-controlled automation in process or production environments.
• 4+ years in robotics work cells and control systems.
• 4+ years ladder logic programming with Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys.
• Experience with electrical theory, robotics, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize MHE control systems and PLCs to minimize downtime.
• Lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior automation engineers.
• Analyze performance metrics, support automation initiatives, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Start-up, Software, Safety teams on projects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus) and drives.
