Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support DeltaV automation, Rockwell PLC/SCADA, and process control across Drug Substance operations.

You will drive lifecycle management, regulatory compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11, and lead continuous improvement to enhance safety, reliability, and productivity.

This role offers cross-functional collaboration and opportunities to influence capital projects and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years combined experience in Manufacturing Automation Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of DeltaV, Rockwell PLC/SCADA, and GMP biopharmaceutical processes.
• Experience with Capital Project Lifecycle Management and regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, S88, S95, GAMP).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain process control automation using DeltaV DCS, Rockwell PLC, HMI, SCADA.
• Lead/root-cause analysis and investigations for automation issues in plant operations.
• Own change control, CAPA, and deviations related to automation systems.
