Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead automation projects within the Manufacturing & Clinical Supplies Automation team. You will drive complex capital construction initiatives, collaborating with site engineering to implement DeltaV DCS, Rockwell PLCs, and SCADA-based solutions on a virtual server infrastructure.

The role requires deep process control expertise, strong problem-solving, and leadership to mentor the Automation Engineering team and support 24x7 operations

Formación

• Doctorate degree or
• Masters degree and 2 years of Manufacturing Automation Systems Engineering experience or
• Bachelors degree and 4 years of Manufacturing Automation Systems Engineering experience or
• Associates degree and 8 years of Manufacturing Automation Systems Engineering experience or
• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Manufacturing Automation Systems Engineering experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation technical projects on complex capital construction projects.
• Collaborate with site process engineering to develop process control/automation solutions using DeltaV, Rockwell PLCs, HMI, SCADA on virtual server infrastructure.
• Support projects to integrate new drug substance and drug product manufacturing technologies.
• Lead/root cause analysis and troubleshooting on process control issues.
• Partner with Capital project teams to design, build, commission, and qualify new equipment and systems.
