Job summary
Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider. This role maintains conveyance, automation, installations, and repairs across all areas, coordinating preventative maintenance and responding to facility breakdowns on short notice.
You will lead troubleshooting and repair of complex systems, including PLCs, high-speed sortation, AS/RS, Cobots/AMRs/AGVs, Cognex scanners, and networked controls with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge in electrical, mechanical, controls and distribution automation.
- 10–15 years conveyor maintenance experience; Hytrol/Interroll a plus.
- 5–10 years automation repair, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot I/O networks (Profibus, Data Highway, CanBus).
- Experience with material handling and building automation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs on conveyors and related systems.
- Respond to facility breakdowns and emergencies with minimal supervision.
- Lead advance troubleshooting and repair of automated and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and support third-party vendors.
- Work with PLCs/controllers, high speed sortation, AS/RS, Cobots/AMRs/AGVs.
- Interact with vendors and operations to implement modifications.
