Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider. This role focuses on daily maintenance, installations, and repairs across conveyors, MHE, and automated systems, with emphasis on PLCs, robotics, and high-speed sortation.

You will troubleshoot complex systems and support infrastructure upgrades in a fast-paced environment. The position requires extensive experience in conveyor maintenance and automation diagnostics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and operations

Qualifications

• Be knowledgeable in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls and Distribution Automation.
• At least 10–15 years of conveyor maintenance experience; Hytrol/Interroll a plus.
• 5–10 years of automation repair, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot I/O networks (Profibus, Data Highway, CanBus).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and knowledge of commercial power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs on conveyors and floor areas.
• Respond to system issues involving conveyors, MHE, sortation and controls.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades and building asset repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automation and conveyance systems.
• Read manuals and diagrams to comply with specifications; coordinate with vendors.
• Lead projects and repairs with minimal supervision; coordinate parts and third parties.
