Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL service provider delivering logistics excellence. The Maintenance Technician will ensure smooth operation of our facility by maintaining conveyance and automation systems, completing installations, repairs, and assigned projects throughout the site.

You will work with the team to coordinate preventative maintenance efforts, respond quickly to breakdowns, and keep operations running efficiently, collaborating with service providers as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose material handling and building automation systems using computer-based monitoring.
• Must be team-oriented.
• Must possess strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-directed and goal-oriented.
• Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution.
• Ability to train junior personnel.
• Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by the Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the continuous operation of Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools.
• Identifying the causes of equipment malfunctions and downtime, and implementing preventive measures.
• Preparation of checklists and supplementary instructions for the technical documentation.
• Maintaining and servicing Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools.
• Collaborating and troubleshooting with external service providers.
• Implementation of optimizations.
