Job summary

Arvato is seeking a senior Conveyor Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs across conveyors, MHE, sortation systems, and automation technologies at our Louisville, KY facility. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems including PLCs, robotics, and power distribution.

The role requires 10–15 years of conveyor maintenance and 5–10 years in automation repair, with a strong ability to read manuals and diagrams and

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Distribution Automation.
• 10–15 years of conveyor maintenance experience (Hytrol/Interroll a plus).
• 5–10 years of automation repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot I/O device networks such as Profibus, Data Highway, and CanBus.
• Proficient with computers/monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned.
• Respond to system issues involving conveyors, MHE, sortation, and controls (ARMADA, hardware, software, etc.).
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades and modifications to building assets.
• Read, understand, and explain operation manuals, diagrams, and manufacturers' specifications.
• Coordinate third parties and order parts.
• Interact with manufacturers, vendors, and operations to remedy concerns or implement modifications.
