Job summary

GAF is seeking a Corporate Automation and Controls Engineer IV to lead control system design and optimization across a multi-plant environment. You will troubleshoot production processes, guide plant controls personnel, and drive technical standards with cross-functional teams.

This role requires deep engineering mastery, travel up to 60%, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years in controls engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of controls engineering in continuous manufacturing environment required.
• 10+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plant engineering support: primary internal resource for control systems and plant performance improvements.
• Strategic project development: lead cross-plant standards and major multi-plant initiatives.
• Plant support and troubleshooting: provide training, remote and on-site troubleshooting, and guidance to plant controls personnel.
• Control group coordination: communicate with controls team and stay current with industry technology.
