Job summary

GAF is seeking a Corporate Automation and Controls Engineer IV to provide technical leadership for control systems across manufacturing plants. You will troubleshoot electrical problems on production lines, guide plant controls personnel, and drive cross-plant standards and projects with substantial travel.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of controls experience in continuous manufacturing; 10+ years is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 5+ years controls engineering in continuous manufacturing.
• 10+ years controls experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary internal engineering resource for control systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant performance.
• Lead and coordinate cross-plant projects and standards.
• Provide troubleshooting support for production lines and training.
