Job summary

GAF is seeking a Corporate Automation and Controls Engineer IV to provide technical leadership across control and automation systems. The role involves supporting production networks, mentoring plant controls personnel, and driving cross-plant projects to improve performance.

Occasional travel is required to coordinate with multiple plants. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering and extensive Rockwell Automation experience, with strong skills in Studio 5000, RSLogix, FTView,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• 10+ years of controls engineering experience in a continuous manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation software - Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FTView, CCW, and FTAC.
• Proficiency selecting, configuring, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PowerFlex variable frequency drives.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary internal engineering resource concerning control systems.
• Lead and facilitate strategic projects across multiple plants.
• Provide plant controls training and troubleshooting guidance.
• Coordinate with controls group for information and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
