Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal QE Architect to define and scale enterprise automation across our technology landscape. You will lead the adoption of automation-first testing, establish standards, and drive AI-enabled testing innovations with teams spanning engineering, architecture, DevOps, and product delivery.

You will design scalable automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, REST Assured, and CI/CD, while mentoring engineers and ensuring governance and reusable assets across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of software quality engineering, automation engineering, SDET, or software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise automation frameworks.
• Deep expertise with automation technologies including Selenium, Playwright, Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Appium, API Automation frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), qTest, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Experience implementing automation solutions for web, API, microservices, cloud-native, and distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Humana's enterprise automation architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Establish reusable enterprise automation frameworks supporting web, mobile, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Lead integration of automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other enterprise delivery platforms.
• Drive AI-enabled testing innovations and intelligent automation capabilities across the organization.
• Mentor quality engineers, SDETs, automation engineers, and technical leaders on enterprise automation practices.
• Create reusable playbooks, standards, training materials, and onboarding programs.
