Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer to define and scale enterprise automation frameworks and AI-enabled quality practices. You will lead automation strategy across segments, influencing engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to accelerate delivery with modern QA techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software quality engineering or automation engineering.
• 8+ years designing enterprise automation frameworks.
• Deep expertise with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, Cypress, Appium.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, qTest, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong programming skills: Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience web/API/cloud/distributed applications.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Testing practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise automation architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Create standards and reference architectures for automation.
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and AI-driven testing solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
