Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Automation Segment Architect to define, design, and scale automation across the enterprise. You will lead adoption of automation-first testing, establish standards, and drive AI-enabled testing innovations in partnership with engineering, architecture, and product teams.

Remote with travel, you will influence quality engineering transformation and governance across Humana's technology landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
10+ years of software quality engineering, automation engineering, SDET, or software engineering experience.
8+ years designing and implementing enterprise automation frameworks.
Deep expertise with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, Cypress, Appium, and API automation frameworks.
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, qTest, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Strong programming skills in Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
Experience in web, API, microservices, cloud-native, and distributed apps.

Responsibilities

Define and execute Humana's enterprise automation architecture strategy and roadmap.
Establish reusable enterprise automation frameworks across web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing.
Create standards and reference architectures for quality engineering and automation.
Evaluate AI-driven testing solutions to improve engineering effectiveness.
Serve as enterprise automation SME for modern QA practices.
Mentor quality engineers and technical leaders on automation practices.
Lead CI/CD integration of automation frameworks using Azure DevOps and enterprise platforms.
