Job summary

Vortex Doors is seeking an Experienced Automatic Door Service Technician in Minnesota to install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial doors, gates, and docks. You will diagnose, configure access control systems, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the door service industry required.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols.
• AAADM certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic doors, access control, and related hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues (springs, hinges, locks, electrical components).
• Install and configure door hardware, locks, handles, closers, and access control systems.
• Ensure installations meet safety and building code regulations.
• Maintain records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
• Provide cost-effective solutions and communicate with customers.
