Job summary

Vortex Doors, America’s leading commercial and industrial door repair company, seeks an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to join our team in Orlando. You will install, repair, and maintain a variety of doors, gates, and docks, ensuring safe, reliable operation while traveling to customer sites.

The role requires 4–5+ years in the door industry, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and comfort with access control systems.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in the commercial door service industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AAADM certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic doors, access control, and related hardware.
• Diagnose door-related issues such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware including locks, handles, closers, and low-voltage systems.
