Job summary

Pohanka Automotive Group in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to lead a high-volume service department. You will provide exceptional leadership, ensure top-quality service delivery, manage workflow, and drive customer satisfaction while aligning with company standards.

The role requires strong automotive service knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to hire and mentor technicians and service advisors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Absolutely must have previous Automotive Dealership experience in a Service Manager or Director’s role.
• Minimum of 15 years experience in an Automotive Dealership, with at least 5 years in management.
• GM experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership experience is essential.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Solid understanding of automotive service processes including scheduling and workflow management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience and maintain high service standards.
• Oversee the service process, ensuring adherence to policies and warranty procedures.
• Hire, manage, and collaborate with technicians and service advisors.
• Coordinate daily workflow and resolve scheduling conflicts or operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of service orders, invoices, and customer information.
