Qualifications

• Five years of Property and Casualty claims experience preferred.
• Texas all lines adjuster license, or ability to obtain, required.
• Ability to supervise employees and coordinate work processes.
• Willingness to travel to all organization offices and vendor sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise auto physical damage claim representatives.
• Verify policy coverage on assigned casualty claims.
• Evaluate casualty claims for proper settlement.
• Negotiate with claimant carriers, insureds and attorneys when necessary.
• Assign new auto losses with assistance from Casualty Claim Manager & Supervisor.
• Communicate with Casualty Claim Manager when assistance is necessary.
• Notify Casualty Claim Manager of all claims that exceed settlement authority of $40,000.
• Establish and maintain proper documentation on assigned claims.
• Attend claims seminars and meetings; participate in claims associations.
• Assist in developing workflow solutions for auto claims.
• Refer potential fraud claims to SIU Manager.
• Assist in training and educating Auto Claims Representatives.
